NASA's Juno spacecraft launches on journey to Jupiter

Juno, which NASA hopes will answer key questions about Jupiter and the origin of the solar system, lifts off from Florida's Cape Canaveral. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory is managing the $1.1-billion mission.The NASA spacecraft Juno, en route to an unprecedented exploration of Jupiter and the origins of the solar system, lifted off this morning from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
