Milky Way's youngest known supernova discovered

The baby stellar blast happened around 1868, astronomers say. Radio and X-ray techniques are combined to pinpoint the object. Astronomers have discovered the youngest known supernova in the Milky Way galaxy, still just a baby at 140 years old.
