Doomed satellite landed in Pacific, NASA says

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - Debris from a defunct six-ton NASA science satellite that crashed to Earth on Saturday fell harmlessly in a remote area of the South Pacific Ocean, NASA said on Tuesday.
