Water Found on Dwarf Planet Ceres, May Erupt from Ice Volcanoes

For the first time, astronomers have found direct evidence that the dwarf planet Ceres contains water, and that water may erupt from icy volcanoes on its surface. Using European Space Agency’s Herschel Space Observatory, scientists detected water vapor.
