LOCUST SWARM PHOTOS: Plagues Triggered by Serotonin?

Devastating swarms of crop-killing locusts can be triggered by the neurotransmitter serotonin, a new study says. The finding could someday help prevent or control desert locust swarms in arid regions of North Africa and the Middle East.
