The 72-year-old from Buena Park had a serious neurological form of the disease, which an Orange County Health Care Agency spokesman said she likely contracted from a mosquito bite. A 72-year-old Buena Park woman became the first person in California to die from the West Nile virus infection this year, the Orange County Health Care Agency reported Monday.
