Steep Jet Dives Test New Mars Rover Radar

A NASA F/A-18 jet, with attached experimental radar to be used on the Mars Science Laboratory Mission, attempted to simulate what radar will see during entry into Martian atmosphere. Dives from 40,000 feet at angles of 40-90 degrees were completed.
