Hidden Antarctic lake shows signs of life

Science editor Alan Boyle's blog: The first signs of potentially exotic life have been spotted in a sample of water drawn from Lake Whillans, a body of water that's buried a half-mile beneath Antarctica's icy surface, according to reports from the scene.
