Study: Algal mutant may reduce cholesterol

BEER-SHEVA, Israel, May 4 (UPI) -- Israeli scientists say they've isolated a microalgal strain that produces large amounts of a polyunsaturated fatty acid that may cut blood cholesterol levels.
