U.S. heart implant pioneer dies

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Dr. Adrian Kantrowitz, who performed the first human heart transplant in the United States, has died of heart failure in Ann Arbor, Mich., at age 90.
