Puffy Spiral Galaxy Finally Gets Its Close-Up

Europe's Very Large Telescope recently captured amazing imagery of galaxy NGC 3521. Discovered in 1784 by William Herschel, this Leo Constellation resident's star infused "fluffy" spiral arms are brought to life.
