Sleep-disordered breathing is common but hard to detect in pediatric patients

An estimated 18 percent of pediatric patients were foudn to be at-risk for sleep-related breathing disorders. Pediatric risk was not associated with any demographic or craniofacial characteristics, as it is in adults, making it difficult to detect.
