BP well could be sealed for good by next week

With a cement plug in place and apparently setting properly, the oil company returns to its permanent solution: drilling a relief well. Cleanup operations begin to be drawn down. Encouraged by signs that a new cement plug was setting properly, BP on Friday returned to the drilling operation that will spell the ultimate end of its notorious gulf well.
