Study chronicles drug-resistant TB in the U.S.

Unlike what is happening in much of the developing world, new U.S. cases of tuberculosis have declined sharply over the last 15 years. At least 83 cases of the most drug-resistant form of tuberculosis were diagnosed in the U.S. in the last 15 years, according to the most thorough accounting to date of the global scourge's national impact.
