Strict Mediterranean diet lowers disease risk, review finds

Strictly following a Mediterranean diet rich in fruits and vegetables may significantly reduce the risk of death from cancer and heart disease and the incidence of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, say Italian researchers who reviewed international studies.
