$38 million in EU carbon credit stolen

BRUSSELS, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Two million European carbon allowances worth $38 million have been stolen in the biggest ever fraud targeting the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme, a major tool in the body's climate protection efforts.
