Does Online Flirting Predict Egypt's Revolution?

Did online flirting predict an offline revolution?   It might seem like a ridiculous question to ask when the dust has not yet settled in Egypt and Tunisia, but Badoo.com, an online social network claiming 107 million users in 180 countries, including Egypt and Tunisia, say they have evidence of a correlation between online flirting and real world protesting.  They compiled a table of the most 'flirtatious' cities in each continent, ranking cities by the number of online flirtations initiated per month by their average user, and saw that the most 'flirtatious' (no idea what that really means) African city by some margin was Tunis, capital of the first Arab country to revolt.    The period studied coincided with Tunisia's revolution.  read more
