Yar'Adua illness fuels fear of new oil war

ABUJA, Nigeria, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Uncertainty over the health of Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua -- hospitalized in Saudi Arabia for more than a month -- and a ferment of political intrigue caused by his absence are stoking fears that a fragile truce in a conflict over the nation's oil wealth will soon unravel altogether.
