NASA's sun-studying Solar Dynamics Observatory captured dramatic time-lapse video of a solar tornado that raged from Sept. 1 through Sept. 3. The temperature of spinning plasma reached 5 million degrees Fahrenheit (2.8 million degrees Celsius).
