Found! Most Distant Stars in the Milky Way Galaxy

Astronomers have found the farthest-flung stars yet known in the Milky Way. The two objects lie at least 775,000 light-years away, making them both about five times more distant than the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way.
