It all began with the blackboard that lets you write on a large surface for all to see and that can be easily erased. To this day, blackboards continue to be found mostly in schools. It's how teachers communicate their ideas to their students in the classroom setting. However chalk can be fairly messy so the whiteboard was invented in hopes of replacing them.
