Most Stroke Victims Arrive at Hospital Too Late for Drug Therapy

(PhysOrg.com) -- Most stroke patients arrive at the hospital too late to take advantage of a clot-busting drug that significantly reduces stroke symptoms and lessens the chance of permanent disability, according to researchers at the Yale School of Public Health. Their study is published in Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association.
