Two Maryland faculty members and three graduate students are taking part in a hands-on research school program at the University of Bueau in Cameroon this August. Along with faculty and students from many nations, they'll work with some 50 young faculty and students from Cameroon and other nations to show that high level research can be done inexpensively.
