Creighton Gets Grant to Continue Study on Prion Diseases

Creighton gets $1.4 million NIH grant to continue study of prion diseases. In 2007, Creighton researchers were the first to report that prion disease in laboratory animals could be spread by inhalation of the agent into the nasal cavity.
