Northeastern University is partnering with Massachusetts General Hospital to carry out a novel breast cancer research project under a nearly $1.3 million grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Researchers from both institutions will aim to discover protein biomarkers that can predict which women with benign diagnoses will go on to develop breast cancer, and which will remain cancer free.
