60-Million-Year-Old Croc Named After 'Lord of the Rings' Monster

Scientists have discovered a new type of extinct croc in South America. At 16 feet (4.8 meters) long and tipped the scales at 900 lbs. (408 kilograms), it ate turtles and battled with monster snakes.
