T. rex ancestors were vegetarians, scientists say

Species that evolved into famously meat-eating dinosaurs — including velociraptors — ate a sometimes exclusive diet of plants, says research from Chicago's Field Museum.It just wouldn't have been the same if the velociraptors in "Jurassic Park" had been crashing around in the kitchen hunting down a salad bar instead of two children.
