Speaking to the American Medical Association in Chicago, President Obama insists the status quo cannot be sustained: 'Reform is not a luxury, it is a necessity.' President Obama on Monday made his most detailed pitch yet for a $1-trillion overhaul of the nation's burdened healthcare system, calling it a "ticking time bomb" that threatens the nation's prosperity.
