Rancho Palos Verdes man, 76, dies after contracting West Nile virus

It is unknown where the man contracted the virus, but he had existing medical conditions that complicated his health, an official says. L.A. County has had 131 cases this year and three deaths. An elderly Rancho Palos Verdes man has died after contracting West Nile virus, county officials said today.
