‘Korean Nobel Prize’ goes to Choi

Augustine M.K. Choi, Parker B. Francis Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, was selected as the 2011 Ho-Am Laureate in Medicine, often referred to as the “Korean Nobel Prize” and an incredible recognition for a lifetime achievement in medicine. Choi is currently the chief of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine division at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital. For more information on the prize and Choi’s research.
