Developing app hopes to detect contaminated food and drinks

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are using artificial intelligence to create a system that will allow people to test foods and drinks for contamination. Every year, an estimated one in six Americans gets sick from contaminated food, and 3,000 people die. Nikki Battiste gets a behind-the-scenes look at how the new technology will work.
