New Horizons space probe sends back images from the most distant object ever explored

NASA released the first wave of images from the New Horizons space probe's flyby of Ultima Thule. The 21-mile-long object is located 4 billion miles from Earth and is the most distant object ever explored. The Franklin Institute's chief astronomer Derrick Pitts joined CBSN to discuss the latest findings.
