Wandering humpback whale likely killed in ship collision, says necropsy team

The preliminary results of a necropsy on the whale, whose body was found floating downstream from Montreal Tuesday, show signs of acute trauma, said Université de Montréal veterinary Prof. Stéphane Lair.
