Calgary Zoo loans 'spy eggs' to help whooping cranes in Louisiana

Scientists are using fake eggs to spy on whooping cranes in hopes of learning why some chicks die in the egg, while others hatch. The effort is based on expertise developed at the Calgary Zoo.
