CRTC backs net neutrality in ruling against apps that favour certain content

Canada's broadcast regulator struck a small blow for net neutrality on Thursday by rapping the knuckles of several major Canadian telecom firms for giving Canadians a deal when they go over their mobile data limits when they consume their own content, but punishing them when they do the same while consuming content from rivals.
