Nuclear Waste: where it is from and where it could go

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) is charged with finding a site for and building Canada's nuclear waste repository. To find a willing host, NWMO wanted towns to approach it. Expressions of interest are now closed and NWMO has 21 towns going through its nine-step process to determine if they are an appropriate site to host the repository.
