Tweets, texts disrupt Olympic cycling coverage

The high volume of tweets sent by fans watching the men's road cycling race at the Olympic Games on the weekend disrupted the GPS transmission of racers' times and positions that broadcasters rely on to cover the race in real time, causing some to resort to their own watches to estimate times.
