NASA averts being bumped from space station

The risk that the United States would have no way to get its astronauts to the International Space Station after 2010 was averted Thursday when the House of Representatives passed a spending bill that included a tiny section that allows NASA to buy or use Russian-made Soyuz space shuttles.
