Illness levels higher among black Nova Scotians: study

A community of black Nova Scotians have higher rates of illness from heart disease and stroke, Type 2 diabetes and psychiatric disorders compared with the general population, and poverty, immigration and language don't seem to account for the difference, researchers say.
