Taxes, stricter alcohol limits could help cut cost of alcohol abuse: report

Alcohol abuse costs every Canadian $463 a year, a new study released Wednesday suggests, but wouldn't have to cost as much if the government intervened to reduce consumption by increasing liquor taxes, lowering blood-alcohol limits and raising the minimum legal drinking age.
