Fertilizer linked to greenhouse gas rise

BERKELY, Calif., April 2 (UPI) -- Fertilizer use over the past 50 years is responsible for an increase of the major greenhouse gas nitrous oxide in the Earth's atmosphere, U.S. scientists say.
