China's Yutu 2 Rover Is Driving on the Far Side of the Moon

China's Chang'e 4 rover, named Yutu 2, rolled onto the floor of the moon's Von Kármán Crater today (Jan. 3), about 12 hours after the mission pulled off history's first-ever soft touchdown on the lunar far side.
