Comet-Chasing Rosetta Spacecraft Releases Probe for Epic Landing Attempt

If all went according to plan, the European Space Agency's Philae lander separated from its Rosetta mothership at 3:35 a.m. EST Wednesday, beginning a long, slow journey down to the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
