Comet Dives Into Sun During Solar Eruption

A comet was spotted plunging into the sun between May 10 and May 11, 2011 by the NASA-ESA SOHO observatory. The comet's death dive occured during a huge coronal mass ejection, but the events aren't related, NASA scientists say.
