Cancer: More Complex Than We Guessed?

I hadn't meant to post again this week, but I just read some news today that was so amazing I had to write something about it. On 4/2, Nature News reported on findings presented at a conference by researchers at Washington University (St. Louis). These scientists had sequenced DNA from breast cancer biopsies in 50 patients, together with DNA from healthy cells in the same patients, and matched up the sequences to look for mutations. read more
