Researchers predict age of T cells to improve cancer treatment

The effectiveness of the cancer therapy known as adoptive T cell transfer is limited by the cells' finite lifespan. Researchers have now addressed this limitation by accurately predicting cell age and quality. Infusing only young functional cells into a patient should improve the therapeutic outcome.
