Hope for patients with mild idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

A new therapy shows promise for patients with mild idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. According to researchers, inhaled N-acetylcysteine (NAC) monotherapy preserves more lung function in some idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients than no therapy.
