Global spending on space grew 4 percent in 2013 to $314 billion: report

CAPE CANAVERAL Fla. (Reuters) - Worldwide spending on satellites, launches and support services increased to $314 billion in 2013, up 4 percent from 2012, even though the U.S. government reduced its own space spending, an industry association reported this week.
