U.S. hits test missile with Raytheon interceptor: witness

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States destroyed a target missile near Hawaii in the first successful test of a new Raytheon Co interceptor designed for an anti-missile shield in Europe, a witness told Reuters.
