Thank you, Wall Street Journal, for finding the Venn segment where David Bowie, Nikola Tesla and faux-woodcut portraits overlap. It's taken from a story in today's Journal documenting the transferrance of adoration from Thomas Edison to Nikolai Tesla ("Teslamania") amongst today's creative classes, over a century after the inventors' initial battle over alternating versus direct current. Similarly, back in 1940, Popular Science celebrated Mickey Rooney (the Bowie of the prewar era) as Young Thomas Edison.
